The Museum of Rural Civilisation is housed in Palazzo Bono in the hamlet of Santa Cristina. It is a collection-testimony of the peasant civilisation. It was founded in 1992 by the ‘Group for the local agricultural civilisation’ and started thanks to doctor Dino Cerutti’s collections.

It is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month, from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Groups or school parties may have guided tours and arranged visits. Inside, visitors can see objects of daily use that belonged to the farmers of the past, as well as reconstructed rooms and spaces from the olden days: kitchen, bedroom, cellar, attic, a primary school classroom, as well as old crafts and tools. There are also objects linked to the local religious tradition and a miniature reconstruction of a 19th-century farm.
